Privacy policy

The short version

The game has no adverts. Played offline, it runs entirely on your device and needs no account: nothing leaves your phone except a crash report when the app crashes; your achievements and best scores, to Game Center or Play Games, unless you switch that off; and, only if you switch it on yourself, a short list of anonymous usage events. That last switch is off until you turn it on.

Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. The first season is free. If you buy the full game or Futbolium Club, the store takes the payment and we never see your card; what the game is told about the purchase is under "Purchases".

Online leagues are different, and optional. To play against other managers you create an online account, and the things listed under "Online leagues" below are kept on our server so a league can be played. Nobody who stays offline has an account or anything on that server.

What is stored on your device

Your careers: the clubs and players the game invented for you, your fixtures, results, tactics, finances and the log of the commands you have given. All of it lives in a single database file inside the app's own storage, which no other app can read. Deleting a save deletes its data; uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

Nothing in there is about you. The offline game never asks for your name, your email address, your contacts, your location, your photos or any permission beyond the platform defaults.

What is sent off your device

Offline: crash reports, through Firebase Crashlytics, and your achievements and scores, as described under "Achievements and leaderboards". Nothing else. (Online play sends more; see "Online leagues".) A crash report contains:

That last item is there so a crash can be reproduced. The club and player names in it are invented by the game; the seed is a number, not an identifier for you.

Crash reporting is off in any build that has not been configured with a Firebase project. When it is on, the report is sent after the crash and never during play.

Usage data, if you turn it on

There is a switch in Club → Privacy called "Share anonymous usage". It is off when you install the game and stays off until you turn it on. Nothing in this section happens while it is off, and turning it back off stops it immediately.

With it on, the game sends three kinds of event and no others:

That is the complete list. It is a closed set in the source code (`AnalyticsEvent`) and a test fails the build if anything is added to it or if any value sent is something other than a number or a constant from that list.

What is deliberately not in there: no club or player names, no save seed, no career or save identifier, no free text of any kind, no screen paths, no session lengths, no timings. The events carry numbers and fixed words.

Usage data goes to Firebase Analytics, and only in a build configured with a Firebase project. Until you turn the switch on, Google's SDK is told to collect nothing at all — not the three events above, and nothing of its own either.

Once you turn it on, the SDK also records a few things by itself, and it is only honest to name them:

Automatic screen tracking is switched off, so the SDK does not report which screens you visit. The three events above remain the only things *this game* chooses to send. Turning the switch back off stops all of it, the SDK's own events included.

Achievements and leaderboards

The game reports what you earn to your phone's own game service: Game Center on iOS, Google Play Games on Android. It is on when you install the game, because signing in to that service is what the platform expects a game to do, and the service shows you that you are signed in. Turn it off in Club → Achievements, beside the usage switch; nothing is sent and no sign-in is attempted while it is off.

With it on, the game sends:

That is all. No club or player names, no seed, no save, no account of ours. A career opened from a save file earns achievements but posts no scores.

What you send goes to Apple or Google under the account you are signed in with there, and their own privacy policies apply to it: they show your achievements and scores to you and, depending on your settings with them, to your friends or on public leaderboards. To remove them, use the game service's own settings.

Online leagues

Only if you choose to play online. None of this exists for a player who never opens Club → Online leagues.

Before an account exists, the game asks for your date of birth. Online play is for people aged 14 and over (the age Spanish law sets for consenting to this on your own). The date is checked on your device and then thrown away: it is never sent or stored, and the server only records *that* the check was passed and when.

What is kept on our server while you have an online account:

Who handles it. The database and accounts are run by Supabase, in Ireland (EU). The matches are played on a server run by the developer. Notifications go through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). None of it is sold, shared or used for advertising.

How long it is kept. For as long as your online account exists. A notification address that has not been confirmed by the app for months is treated as belonging to an app that was uninstalled.

Deleting it. In the game, open Club → Online leagues and choose "Delete my online account". Your account, your manager name, any email address, your devices and your kept careers are erased. The matches you played stay in your leagues' history, because the other managers played them too, but with nothing left that points to you: your clubs are handed to a computer manager. The careers on your phone are not touched. If you no longer have the app, write to the address under "Data controller and contact" with your manager name and league, and the same will be done for you.

Purchases

The first season is free. The full game, a single purchase, and Futbolium Club, a subscription needed only to start online leagues, are sold by the App Store or Google Play. The store takes the payment under your account with it. Your card, your store account's name and your email address never reach us.

To know what you have bought, the game uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., United States), which checks purchases with the store on our behalf. It receives:

Nothing about your careers goes with it. RevenueCat keeps purchase records for as long as our account with it exists, and processes them under its own terms as our processor; write to the address below to have yours deleted there.

If you have an online account, our server also keeps, from RevenueCat, whether you own the full game, until when you have the Club, and the date and kind of the last change, because starting an online league depends on it. It is erased with your online account.

What is not collected

No advertising identifier, ever, whatever the switch above is set to. No screen paths, no funnels, no cross-app or cross-device tracking. Payment details never reach us. Nothing is sold or shared, and nothing is used for advertising.

Session and engagement timing used to be on this list. It was removed on 26 August 2026 because it had stopped being true: switching the usage setting on lets Firebase record its own session and engagement events, as described above, and a policy that denied it would be wrong in the direction that matters.

Children

The offline game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, children included. The usage switch above is off by default and collects nothing that identifies a person when it is on.

Achievements and leaderboards use the platform's own account, and Apple's and Google's rules for children's accounts apply to them.

Online leagues are not open to anyone under 14, and the age check that enforces this keeps no date of birth (see "Online leagues").

Data controller and contact

This app is made by an individual developer. For any question about this policy, to ask that a crash report be deleted, or to ask for a copy of your online data or for it to be deleted, write to [email protected]. For a crash report, give the date and time of the crash. To stop usage data, turn the switch in Club → Privacy off; there is no account behind it to delete.

About the football content

Every club, player, competition, stadium and crest in this game is invented for it. There is no real-world football data of any kind, and no licensed content. Any resemblance to a real club, competition or person is unintended.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the new version is published at the same address before the build that needs it is released.
